Privacy Policy

How AutoProHub handles personal data for car owners, garage owners, garage staff, support interactions and pilot users.

1. Purpose and pilot scope

This Privacy Policy explains how AutoProHub (“APH”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data during the APH controlled pilot. The pilot tests a limited marketplace workflow between car owners and garage owners before a broader public launch.

APH acts as a digital coordination and matching platform. APH is not a garage, mechanic, insurer, towing provider, payment processor or repair-service provider. Independent garages provide repair services, and customers pay garages directly unless APH approves another method in writing.

2. Who this policy applies to

  • Car owners and vehicle users who submit requests, ask for quotes, book, communicate with APH or give feedback.
  • Garage owners, representatives and staff who join or are assessed for the pilot.
  • People who contact APH through WhatsApp, phone, email, app or website forms, surveys, referrals or support.
  • Pilot support users, including the Launch Lead and APH team members, where their activity is recorded.

3. APH operator and privacy contact

The APH legal operator will be inserted once the company registration and operating entity are finalized. Until then, this is a pilot privacy notice controlled by APH management.

Privacy contact: info@autoprohub.com. Users may also use the official pilot WhatsApp or email channel communicated to them.

5. How we collect data

  • Directly through the app, forms, phone calls, WhatsApp, email, surveys or support.
  • From garages providing quotes, booking status, completion updates, repair notes or settlement information.
  • From the Launch Lead or support team recording visits, calls, follow-ups or complaints.
  • Automatically through technical logs, analytics and status events.
  • From public sources used to check garage presence, location, reviews or business visibility.

6. How APH uses data

  • Create and manage pilot accounts and profiles.
  • Receive, clarify and route service or repair requests.
  • Share relevant request and garage information to support quotes and bookings.
  • Support confirmations, updates, cancellations, completion and feedback.
  • Maintain simple repair histories and reconcile applicable garage commission.
  • Investigate complaints, fake requests, unauthorized work, quality concerns and disputes.
  • Measure pilot performance, fix app issues and improve workflows.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.

7. Legal basis and consent

APH relies on legal bases available under applicable law, including consent, contract or pre-contract steps, legitimate business interests in operating and improving the pilot, and legal obligations. Where consent is required, users may withdraw it by contacting APH. Withdrawal may limit APH’s ability to provide pilot services or maintain an active request or booking.

8. Data sharing

APH shares data only where necessary for the pilot or legally required. APH does not sell personal data.

9. WhatsApp, phone and email

APH may use these channels for request clarification, quote follow-up, confirmations, status updates, cancellations, completion, feedback, complaints and support. These channels are operated by third parties with their own privacy terms. APH avoids requesting unnecessary sensitive data through them.

10. Photos, documents and reviews

  • Users may send useful vehicle, damage, part, invoice or completed-work images.
  • Photos should not include unrelated people, documents, addresses, bank cards or unnecessary personal information.
  • Public reviews may be visible to other users if APH enables them.
  • Private feedback helps APH assess quality, user experience and disputes.
  • APH may compare feedback with job records and follow-up to reduce fake, biased or inaccurate claims.

11. Payment and commission data

Car owners pay garages directly, so APH does not need full card data or bank credentials. APH may record job value, labour and parts cost where disclosed, commission, waivers, settlement status and proof of settlement. Invoices may be stored to confirm completion, resolve disputes, maintain repair history and reconcile commission. Remove unnecessary personal or financial details before sending documents where possible.

12. International transfers and providers

APH team members, developers, cloud systems and support tools may be outside Lebanon, so pilot data may be accessed or stored in countries with different privacy laws. APH will use reasonable contractual, access-control and technical measures to protect it.

14. Security

  • Limit access to people who need pilot data.
  • Use password-protected accounts, role-based access where possible and controlled shared folders.
  • Keep formal records in APH-approved folders rather than personal devices where possible.
  • Record and escalate suspected unauthorized access, lost files, errors or privacy incidents.
  • Remove access when a team member or service provider no longer needs it.

15. User rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, withdrawal of consent, and a copy of certain data where practical. APH may retain limited records for legal, accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, safety or legitimate business reasons. Contact APH to exercise these rights.

16. Marketing and pilot communications

APH may contact users about the pilot, requests, garage onboarding, feedback and updates. APH should not send broad marketing without consent. Users may stop non-essential promotional communications at any time.

17. Children

The APH pilot is not intended for children or users under 18. APH does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

18. Changes to this policy

APH may update this pilot policy before public launch or when adding payments, wallets, subscriptions, advertising, loyalty, AI diagnostics, roadside assistance, new services or new jurisdictions. Material changes should be recorded and communicated where appropriate.

Appendix A — Minimum pilot consent wording

“By submitting a request, I agree that APH may use my contact, vehicle, location, service request, photos, messages, booking, repair and feedback information to operate the controlled pilot, match me with suitable garages, support the booking, confirm completion, handle complaints, improve the app and maintain pilot records as described in the APH Privacy Policy.”

Appendix B — Pilot-only limitation

The above is intended only for the APH pilot. A public-launch privacy policy should be issued before wider launch, automated payments, wallet functionality, subscriptions, advertising, loyalty programmes, AI diagnostics or expansion to additional jurisdictions.
